RESEARCH PROJECTS Biomaterials based on chitosan

January 2012 – present, Sumy State University, Ukraine

This project focuses on synthesis and evaluation of new biomaterials for medical application. Three types of materials have been made by our group – for skin treatment, bone grafting and for enterosorbtion. We employ both physical (X-ray diffraction, IR-spectroscopy) and biological (cell culture and animal experiment) methods to study these materials
